The CL4250SD is Sub-Zero’s current-production 42″ Classic side-by-side refrigerator/freezer with a dispenser, with parts and service documentation kept current since it’s still in production. New fan noise from behind the rear panel, and frost building up inside the freezer compartment, are the cooling issues reported most on a CL4250SD. Separately, a dispenser running slow or […]

Separately, the internal dispenser delivering no […]

The CL4250SID is Sub-Zero’s current-production 42″ Classic side-by-side refrigerator/freezer with an internal dispenser, with parts and service documentation kept current since it’s still in production. The DET3050R is a current-production 30″ Designer over-and-under refrigerator, panel ready and freezerless — a single-door, 16.4 cu. ft. cabinet with no freezer section. Since this cabinet has only one refrigeration zone, an uneven temperature reading between the top and bottom of a DET3050R is worth having checked rather than assumed to be normal — […]

The CL4250UFD is Sub-Zero’s current-production 42″ Classic French door refrigerator/freezer — 84″ high, 24.7 cu. ft. adjusted volume, with a bottom freezer and automatic ice maker. The DET3650CI is a current-production 36″ Designer over-and-under refrigerator/freezer with an ice maker, panel ready — the same platform as the DET3650C. A compressor running noticeably longer than it used to, and a control panel reading a temperature the cabinet isn’t actually holding, are the cooling issues reported most on a DET3650CI. When the ice […]

The CL4850S is Sub-Zero’s current-production 48″ Classic side-by-side refrigerator/freezer — 84″ high, 29.1 cu. ft. A cabinet that recovers slowly after the door has been held open, and one that holds temperature overnight but drifts warmer through […]
